William Barnett is a chartered accountant. Mr. Barnett was a Vice-President and director of Conwest Exploration Ltd. and Jascan Resources Inc. until they were acquired by other companies in 1996 and 2000, respectively. At both Conwest and Jascan, Mr. Barnett managed a significant portfolio of resource securities, which provided funds for the growth of these companies.
John D. Bracale has more than 30 years experience in mining executive roles in the U.S., Latin America and the Pacific Rim. Most recently, Mr. Bracale held the position of Vice President Latin America and Corporate Logistics at Breakwater Resources Ltd. Before joining Breakwater, Mr. Bracale was Senior Vice President Latin American Operations for Arimetco International Inc. Earlier in his career, he was Administrative Manager and Assistant to the General Manager / Operations for one of the largest mining companies in Peru -- Southern Peru Copper Corporation.
Gordon F. Bub is a graduate Mining Engineer with 40 years experience in mining and investment banking. Mr. Bub was previously Chairman and CEO of Breakwater Resources Ltd., Chairman of Black Hawk Mining Inc. and Executive Vice-President, Merchant Banking, at Dynamic Capital Inc. Mr. Bub's previous roles include working as a mining analyst, a director of research, and in corporate finance for Toronto based investment firms.
Kevin Drover has more than 30 years of progressive domestic and international management experience in the mining industry. This includes 20 years in the gold sector in a number of frontline supervision and executive management positions. Mr. Drover most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Glencairn Gold Corporation, during which time he was responsible for two gold mining operations in Latin America. Before joining Glencairn, Mr. Drover was Vice President of Operations for Kinross Gold Corporation, where he was responsible for six operating gold mines worldwide.
John Depatie has over 40 years experience in the mining industry. Mr. Depatie has held a variety of key executive positions and has been involved in the discovery and development of several mines. He has served as a consultant to the UN, the World Bank, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Asian Development Bank, the Banco Interamericano de Desarollo, the Canadian International Development Agency and Quebec's Ministry of Natural Resources. Mr. Depatie has also served on the boards of several companies, including Glamis Gold Inc., Novicourt Inc. and Richmont Mines Inc. He formerly held the role of President of the Quebec Geologic Association and, in 1990, was awarded the Prix d'Excellence by the Quebec Department of Energy and Resources.
Richard Godfrey is CFO of Sherwood Copper Corp. Mr. Godfrey holds a Certified Management Accountant designation and a business degree from Concordia University. He began his career in the mining industry in 1988 and has wide-ranging experience with private and public companies at corporate and operational levels. Mr. Godfrey has held a number of positions, including: Director of Accounting Services at Curragh Resources, Yukon Operations; Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Triton Mining Corporation; Financial Advisor to the President and CEO of Saudi Arabian Mining Company; Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Breakwater Resources Ltd.; and Vice-President, Finance, at Lundin Mining Corporation (EuroZinc Mining Corporation), prior to October 31, 2006.
