Mr. Price has spent most of his career in the mining industry. He was Vice President, Finance and CFO of molybdenum producer Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. from 2003 until his retirement in 2008. He was also Vice President, Finance and CFO of Glencairn Gold Corporation from 2003 to 2006. From 1996 to 2003, he was Vice President, Finance and CFO of Wheaton River Minerals Ltd (now Goldcorp Inc.). Prior to Wheaton River he spent four years as Vice President Finance of gold producer Granges Inc. and ten years in various roles with base metal producer Cominco Ltd. He is a member of both the Canadian and Australian Institutes of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Price holds a MBA from Griffith University in Australia, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
Chairman
Gordon F. Bub is a graduate Mining Engineer with 40 years experience in mining and investment banking. Mr. Bub was previously Chairman and CEO of Breakwater Resources Ltd., Chairman of Black Hawk Mining Inc. and Executive Vice-President, Merchant Banking, at Dynamic Capital Inc. Mr. Bub's previous roles include working as a mining analyst, a director of research, and in corporate finance for Toronto based investment firms.
Michel Tardif is an investor involved in senior financial ventures. Mr. Tardif was formerly a financial analyst for brokerage firms in Montreal.
President and CEO
Kevin Drover has more than 30 years of progressive domestic and international management experience in the mining industry. This includes 20 years in the gold sector in a number of frontline supervision and executive management positions. Mr. Drover most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Glencairn Gold Corporation, during which time he was responsible for two gold mining operations in Latin America. Before joining Glencairn, Mr. Drover was Vice President of Operations for Kinross Gold Corporation, where he was responsible for six operating gold mines worldwide.
Jean Depatie has over 40 years experience in the mining industry. Mr. Depatie has held a variety of key executive positions and has been involved in the discovery and development of several mines. He has served as a consultant to the UN, the World Bank, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Asian Development Bank, the Banco Interamericano de Desarollo, the Canadian International Development Agency and Quebec's Ministry of Natural Resources. Mr. Depatie has also served on the boards of several companies, including Glamis Gold Inc., Novicourt Inc. and Richmont Mines Inc. He formerly held the role of President of the Quebec Geologic Association and, in 1990, was awarded the Prix d'Excellence by the Quebec Department of Energy and Resources.
