Vice President Operations
Rod Lamond is a professional mining engineer with over 23 years of experience in the mining industry. Mr. Lamond began his mining career as a miner and quickly advanced up the ranks of front line supervision. Over the past 10 years Mr. Lamond has assumed increasingly responsible roles in a number of senior management positions in the Canadian Arctic and Central America. Mr. Lamond’s most recent management positions include General Manager of Breakwater Resources Ltd.'s 3000 tpd Myra Falls operation on Vancouver Island, B.C., and General Manager of the 2000 tpd El Mochito Mine in Honduras.
Vice President Projects
Vic Rozon has specialized in mineral processing for the past 25 years. As a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines, his experience includes extensive design, engineering and operations work in both the gold and base metal industries, where he has held numerous management positions. His most recent roles include Plant Manager for former Cambior's Bauxite operation in Guyana as well as Commissioning Manager for AMEC at the DeBeer's Victor Diamond Project in Ontario. His focus at Gold Hawk is to support the on-site management team at the Coricancha mine in Peru as well as to apply his in-house metallurgical and technical expertise in project design and engineering, construction and commissioning.
